I am a young woman in college, majoring in art with a double minor in religion and sociology. I have no definite plans for the future, and I am finally at peace with this fact. I do know that I would like to pursue a career in tattooing and painting. And if I decide to go on to grad school, I will concentrate on religion and/or family life. Photography is also a serious hobby, as is web and graphic design and sewing. These days when people inquire about my beliefs, I am unsure as to what I should tell them. The past year has been quite insightful, and it is not uncommon for me to discover something that shakes the very foundation of my worldview daily. I can stand by the core values of peace, love, and understanding, and I do not believe that will ever change. I have recently begun transcendental meditation practices, and hopefully I will have lots of things to report from these experiences. Basically, I am a young woman with a mission and a goal. I want to help people, and to show them what I am shown each day. If that steps on toes, well, I'm used to it, and undoubtedly it will have to do just that. I'm not going to let it stop me, the duty I have been given is far too important. I've been gifted with understanding and compassion, and I want to freely share them with anyone who will let me. I started this blog with two other friends. The first friend had beliefs that clashed harshly with the intentions of God Revolution, and the second just did not seem very dedicated to updating. This is why some of the earlier entries have different names attached to them. |
